Life is one broken, beautiful mess We place far too much trust in it, The results of someone thrustin’ it We are damaged fragile creatures, Like roses in the flames Life flashes POOF! Ashes, all our hopes and dreams For we are all roses, We each have our thorns But in the fire those thorns burn away The petals intact We are a beautiful, burning spectacle of life
