Yet another Important Update From CLYDE MACHINE!
Greetings again one and all from Clyde Machine! I’ve got a new logo (currently being sported above), so if you see that around the Internet, you know what it stands for.
I’m writing you this late evening/early morning for a couple quick updates, and a very special (and very quick) request. I’ll include a TL;DR at the end to summarize what it’s about if you’re reading on the fly.
First order of business is about my record label, GOGAFT, which I co-own with my buddy Wagner Koop – you may know him as diverse music producer Arctic Spaceman. We have been getting a lot of work done behind the scenes in the interest of launching our artists into the public spotlight. We’ve been getting some very nice demo submissions from various artists these last few weeks, and are actively working to release some fresh music, the likes of which the world has not seen. We’ll have our own breed of musical talent to bring to the world – pretty exciting stuff! I’ll keep Gogaft-related material to a minimum to keep within the bounds of this mailing lists’ interests, but know that part of the wait on my next EP release (tentatively due for this Fall!) is because of label-related work.
More info on Gogaft (including demo submission information) can be found on the Facebook!

The second order of business is a personal request from you. It’s nothing too big for you, but it means a great deal to me.
I am entered into a contest to play an opening slot for dubstep heavyweights Sadhu and Barron. They are two well-known forces in the dubstep music scene who have been blowing up very quickly in the last year, and they are playing in Detroit, MI this August 16th. Being my home turf, it would mean a great deal to me if I were to win this contest and play my own mix of tracks for a Detroit crowd looking for some serious bassweight.
(Flier for the show.)
Of course, this can only happen if you contribute a vote for Clyde Machine on the Facebook poll linked below.
It’s easy enough to do – click the link and you’ll be taken right to the show promoter’s poll, and check the box next to Clyde Machine. You can vote for multiple entrants, so if there are others you’d like to see by all means send your support their way as well. But know that the minute or two it takes for you to contribute that vote for me really does mean the world to me, as this will be a very serious musical opportunity for me, and for my music career.
TL;DR: Clyde Machine is in a contest to open for Sadhu and Barron in Detroit, this August 16th, but I need YOUR VOTE on the poll linked below to make it happen! Click the link and check the “Clyde Machine” box!
(Mobile/smartphone users: Click here, then click “Pinned Post” to show the poll!)
I know many of you have already voted and shown your support in the comments of that post, and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you if I haven’t already done so. When you vote in these contents or comment telling the promoters that you want to see me perform, it lets others know not only of my presence in the local scene, it also shows your dedication and support for this music project. I have said it to a few of you already, but let it be known that when you support me, you can count on my being there in kind for you. I never forget the help others give me, and I will take every one of you with me through this musical journey, straight through the skies.
No one gets left behind on the Clyde Machine train!
Thank you, and take care.
